Refund Policy
This page says plainly what happens to your money when you cancel or ask for a refund. It sits alongside our Terms of Service; where the two describe the same thing, they are meant to agree, and this page is the fuller version.
1. Cancelling
A workspace administrator can cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription inside the app, or by emailing [email protected]. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.
Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not cut the current period short: the workspace keeps full access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further payment is taken after that. Nothing is deleted when you cancel. Your data stays available to export, and is retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
2. Refunds we give in full
Ask us and we will refund the full amount where:
- you were charged after asking to cancel;
- you were charged twice for the same period;
- the Service was materially unavailable for a sustained part of the period you paid for;
- an annual plan is cancelled within 14 days of the first payment; or
- consumer law where you live gives you a right to one.
3. Unused time
Subscriptions are billed in advance for the period you chose. Because cancelling always runs to the end of that period rather than ending immediately, we do not routinely refund unused time within a period that is already running. Outside the cases in §2 we will still look at genuine situations individually — write to us and say what happened.
4. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with the workspace name and the charge in question. We aim to reply within two business days and, where a refund is due, to issue it within ten.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com as our merchant of record, so a refund is returned by Paddle to the original payment method. It may appear on your statement under Paddle's name rather than Workplume's — that is the same entry your original payment appeared under. You can also raise a refund request directly with Paddle using the receipt they emailed you, under Paddle's buyer terms.
How long the money then takes to appear is set by your bank, not by us or by Paddle.
5. Changing plan or seat count
Moving to a different plan takes effect when the new plan is paid for. Seat count can be changed at any time; the new number applies from the next payment.
6. Contact
Workplume is operated by Shekew Import and Export, Qatar. Refund and billing questions: [email protected]. Other ways to reach us are on the Contact page.
